This report presents the findings of the Human Rights Impact Assessment (HRIA) on the citrus supply chain originating in Spain, which Ergon conducted for ALDI North.

This HRIA, undertaken by Ergon and ASK for Aldi North, looks at human rights issues in the Indian tea sector, focusing on Assam, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu. The assessment was based on extensive fieldwork, stakeholder engagement and desk research.

In 2022 we led a research study on the implementation of operational grievance mechanisms by Rainforest Alliance (RA) certified farms and groups. By undertaking a rigorous review of survey data and carrying out in-depth case studies, we gained insights into the prevailing practices, challenges, and good practice in this area.

Ergon worked closely with the ILO's Office for the Caribbean and the tripartite constituents in Suriname to support the development of a new Decent Work Country Programme. The Program sets strategic priorities for Suriname to advance decent work and national development goals over the next four years.

Ergon has contributed to the development of the IDH Living Wage Action Guide, which aims to guide buyers, their suppliers and other relevant actors towards the most appropriate actions they can take to close living wage gaps.
