Estefanía’s main areas of interest are:
- international labour law and human rights
- migration issues in employment
- gender equality and women empowerment though business
- development finance and impact investing
Estefanía joined Ergon in February 2018, and is based in New York. As a researcher, she is focusing on international labour standards and human rights in Latin American countries.
Prior to coming to Ergon, she was an International Finance and Development Fellow at the World Bank. Throughout her career, Estefanía has worked on freedom of expression and access to information, data collection and its relation to economic inclusion, impact investing and microfinance, development finance, and the furthering of the sustainable development agenda in Latin America.
Estefanía is certified before the New York State Second Judicial Department and is a qualified attorney in her home country of Argentina. She speaks fluent Spanish and English. She has an LLM in International Legal Studies from NYU, and a law degree in Public International Law from the University of Buenos Aires.
