Decent Work Country Programme Suriname, 2023-26

Ergon worked closely with the ILO’s Office for the Caribbean and the tripartite constituents in Suriname to support the development of a new Decent Work Country Programme (DWCP) for 2023-2026. The Program sets strategic priorities for Suriname to advance decent work and national development goals over the next four years. The DWCP includes a particular focus on job creation and accelerating Suriname’s just transition to a more environmentally sustainable economy, as well as supporting skills development, expanding social protection and promoting inclusive labour markets and the protection of labour rights.
