Clara Castello
Researcher

Clara joined Ergon as a Researcher in September 2023. Prior to that, she has supported international development and peacebuilding NGOs with research and programmes particularly in the Sahel and Central African region. She holds an MSc in Global Politics and a BSc in International Relations and History from the London School of Economics (LSE), where she focused on globalisation, international development institutions and migrants’ issues. She speaks fluent French and English.

Clara’s areas of interest include:

  • The relationship between labour standards and development;
  • Human rights risks and responsibilities in fragile and conflict-affected contexts;
  • The rights and economic inclusion of refugees and migrant workers in host countries.
