We supported The World Bank in the development of the ‘Exploring Opportunities for Gender Diversity in the Mining and Energy Sector in Serbia’ report. The publication is the latest in our work on supporting gender equality in the energy sector, including both conventional and renewable energy sources. This report assesses the current level of women’s participation in Serbia’s energy and mining sector, examines the business case for greater inclusion, and lays out actionable and practical recommendations on steps that stakeholders (including policy makers, companies, and the World Bank itself) can take to close existing gender gaps.
